The Indian Army is accepting applications for its Women Rally Recruitment 2022 for the post of General Duty in the Corps of Military Police. Applications opened on 9 August 2022 and the last date to complete and submit the form is 7 September 2022. There is no application fee for either General, OBC, EWS or SC, ST candidates.
Candidates must be residents of the district under the rally zone they are applying for, and the educational qualification is Class 8th, 10th or 12th depending on the post applied for. The age limit is 17.5 to 23 years, for those born between 1 October 1999 and 1 April 2005. On the physical side, the standards include a height of 162 centimetres, a 1.6 kilometre run in 7 minutes 30 seconds, a long jump of 10 feet and a high jump of 3 feet, along with a zigzag balance test. Rally centres are spread across the country by zone, covering Lucknow for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Ambala for Delhi, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, Danapur for Bihar and Jharkhand, Jabalpur for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Jaipur for Rajasthan, and similar centres at Bangalore, Chennai, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Pune and Shillong for other regions.
Eligible women candidates should apply online before the deadline and check the rally schedule for their district's designated centre.
