The Bihar School Examination Board has declared the result of the Bihar State Eligibility Test (STET) 2024 for both Paper I and Paper II.
Applications were accepted from 14 December 2023 to 1 March 2024, with the fee due by the same date. A dummy admit card was issued ahead of the exam, Paper I was conducted between 18 and 29 May 2024 and Paper II between 11 and 20 June 2024, with the regular admit card released before the exam. The Paper I answer key came out on 11 July 2024 and the Paper II answer key on 17 July 2024, ahead of the result on 18 November 2024. The fee for a single paper was 960 rupees for General, BC and EWS candidates and 760 rupees for SC, ST and PH candidates, while both papers together cost 1440 rupees and 1140 rupees respectively for the same groups. The age limit was 21 to 37 years for male candidates and 21 to 40 years for female candidates.
Paper I eligibility is built around a bachelor's degree with B.Ed for candidates aiming at secondary-level teaching, while Paper II calls for a master's degree with B.Ed for the senior secondary level, with full subject-wise details in the notification. Candidates can check their result on the BSEB website using their roll number.
