The Bihar Public Service Commission has released the mains admit card for the 71st Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination Recruitment 2025, held for 1250 posts.

Applications had opened on 2 June 2025 and closed on 30 June 2025, with the exam fee due the same day. The preliminary exam was held on 30 August 2025, and the mains exam is set for 25 to 30 April 2026, with the mains admit card released on 17 April 2026. The fee was 600 rupees for general, OBC and other-state candidates, and 150 rupees for SC, ST, PH and Bihar-domiciled female candidates. Age for the post ranges from 21 to 22 years depending on the post, with an upper limit of 37 years for men and 40 years for women. Of the 1250 posts, 1171 are open to graduates in any stream and 79 are reserved for Financial Administrative Officer and equivalent posts requiring a degree in commerce, economics, mathematics or statistics. The category break-up includes 188 EBC, 165 SC, 160 BC, 123 EWS, 34 BC female and 10 ST posts.
