The Bihar Public Service Commission has declared the Mains result for the Assistant Audit Officer AAO recruitment of 2021, a state-level process covering 138 posts.
Applications had opened on 17 April 2021 and closed on 29 June 2021, which was also the last date to pay the exam fee. The Preliminary exam was held on 20 August 2022, with the admit card issued on 18 August 2022 and the answer key released on 26 August 2022. The Preliminary result came out on 18 October 2022, the Mains online form was accepted from 18 to 28 October 2022, and the Mains result was declared on 5 December 2023. The fee was 600 rupees for General, BC and EWS candidates, and 150 rupees for SC, ST candidates as well as for Bihar domicile female candidates. Eligible candidates needed a Bachelor degree with Commerce, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics as a subject, or an MBA in Finance, CA or ICWA. Of the 138 posts, the category break-up includes 25 EBC, 22 SC, 17 OBC, 14 EWS, 4 OBC Female and 2 ST.
Candidates who appeared for both the Preliminary and Mains exams can now check the Mains result, declared on 5 December 2023, and follow up through the official BPSC notice for further stages.
