Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the final result for the Block Horticulture Officer recruitment 2024, a process covering 318 posts. The post requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, B.Sc in Horticulture Science or Agriculture Science.
Applications were open from 1 March to 24 March 2024, with the exam fee payment and form completion due by the same date, and the online form was reopened between 23 and 29 May 2024. The exam was held on 12-13 August 2024, after the admit card was released on 5 August 2024. The result came out on 18 November 2024, interview letters followed on 14 January 2025, and the final result was declared on 6 March 2025. The fee was 750 rupees for General, OBC and Other State candidates, and 200 rupees for SC, ST, PH candidates and female candidates domiciled in Bihar. The age limit was a minimum of 21 years, with a maximum of 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates, and the notification carries further details on age relaxation.
Of the 318 posts, the category-wise breakdown shows 81 for Unreserved, 32 for EWS, 86 for EBC, 44 for OBC, 68 for SC and 7 for ST candidates. Candidates who appeared for the exam and interview can now check their final result.
