The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has declared the final result for its Various Post recruitment covering 255 vacancies. Applications had opened on 13 October 2021 and closed on 12 November 2021, with the exam held from 28 to 31 March 2022 after admit cards were issued on 8 March 2022 and the answer key released on 4 April 2022. The result for this stage came on 7 July 2022, followed by a Stage II exam on 23 and 24 September 2022 with its own admit card on 14 September 2022, and the final result was declared on 3 October 2022.

Among the 255 posts, 125 are for Technical Officer requiring a Master Degree, PG Diploma or BE/B.Tech in food-related fields, 37 for Central Food Safety Officer, 33 for Assistant, 19 for Personal Assistant, and smaller numbers across roles such as Assistant Director, Deputy Manager, Food Analyst, Assistant Manager, Hindi Translator and IT Assistant. The application fee was 1500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and 500 rupees for SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates.
