Indian Institutes of Technology, through IIT Madras, has declared the result for the Joint Admission Test for Masters JAM 2024, the national entrance exam for postgraduate science admissions. Candidates who appeared for the test can check their score card and cutoff on the official JAM website.
Applications for JAM 2024 opened on 5 September 2023 and closed on 13 October 2023, with the exam fee also due by the same date. The exam was conducted on 11 February 2024, and the admit card was released on 8 January 2024 at 5 PM ahead of the test. The result was declared on 23 March 2024. The fee structure varied by the number of papers and category: a single paper cost 1800 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 900 rupees for SC, ST, PH and female candidates, while a double paper cost 2500 rupees and 1250 rupees respectively for the same category groups, payable online or offline.
Candidates should check their score card along with the category-wise cutoff before applying for admission counselling at the participating institutes.
