A recruitment drive for the post of Scientific Officer Biology under the Madhya Pradesh State Service Exam 2026 has invited online applications for 25 vacancies. Candidates with a master's degree in subjects such as Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bio-Technology, Forensic Bio-Technology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bio Science, Life Science or Forensic Science, or related trades, from a recognised Indian university are eligible to apply.
The application process began on 21 April 2026 and closes on 20 May 2026, which is also the last date to pay the exam fee. Form correction is allowed between 26 April and 22 May 2026. Candidates can still apply with a late fee in two phases, from 21 to 27 May 2026, and again from 28 May right through to 28 October 2026, though the second phase carries a much higher fee. The exam is scheduled for 22 November 2026, with the admit card expected on 12 November 2026. The fee is 540 rupees for General and other-state candidates and 290 rupees for OBC, EWS, SC and ST candidates, plus a 40 rupee portal charge, with a 50 rupee correction charge. The age limit is set between 21 and 40 years.
Given the detailed subject eligibility and the layered late-fee structure, candidates should read the full notification carefully before applying.
