The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board has declared the final result for its Fireman and Assistant Fire Officer recruitment, which covered 629 posts in total.
Applications for this recruitment had opened on 18 August 2021 and closed on 16 September 2021, which was also the last date to pay the exam fee. The written exam took place on 29 January 2022, with admit cards issued on 21 January 2022. The result went through several stages: the main result on 18 April 2022, the AFO result on 18 January 2023, and finally the AFO final result on 3 July 2023. Fees were 450 rupees for General and OBC, 350 rupees for OBC NCL, and 250 rupees for SC and ST, with a separate correction charge of 300 rupees. Age was set between 18 and 40 years. Of the 629 posts, 27 were for Assistant Fire Officer, requiring a bachelor's degree along with the AFO qualification, and 581 for Fireman, requiring a 10+2 pass with six months of fireman training. The category-wise break-up for Assistant Fire Officer includes 12 UR, 5 OBC and 4 SC posts among others, while Fireman includes 211 UR, 122 OBC and 92 SC posts among others.
