The Supreme Court of India has declared the result for the post of Court Assistant (Junior Translator), a central recruitment that covered 25 vacancies, along with the syllabus for the post.
Applications had opened on 18 April 2022 and closed on 14 May 2022, which was also the last date to pay the exam fee. The exam was held on 24 July 2022, the result was declared on 18 December 2022, and the typing test result followed later on 7 December 2023. The fee was 500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 250 rupees for SC, ST and PH candidates. The age limit for the post was 18 to 32 years. Candidates needed a Bachelor degree with English and the relevant vernacular language as subjects, two years of experience in a related field, and knowledge of computer operations including word processing in English and the vernacular language. Of the 25 posts, 2 were specifically for English to Assamese translation.
Candidates who appeared for both the written exam and the typing test can check their results, with the typing test outcome having been declared most recently on 7 December 2023.
