The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released its exam calendar for 2024, laying out the schedule for the various examinations it conducts through the year. The original calendar was issued on 12 January 2024, and the Commission later put out a revised version on 4 June 2024 with updated dates for candidates to follow.

According to the calendar, the examination cycle for the year was set to begin on 28 January 2024 and run through to 22 December 2024. This gives candidates preparing for UPPSC exams a broad window to plan their preparation and track which exam falls when across the year.

Candidates appearing for any UPPSC exam this year should keep the revised calendar handy and check it against individual exam notifications, since specific application and exam dates for each recruitment are announced separately.

How to Apply

  1. 1Read the official notification carefully before you start, since it covers eligibility, age limit and vacancy details in more depth than any summary can.
  2. 2Open the "Apply Online" link on this page to go to Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC)'s own application portal; applications submitted anywhere else won't be valid.
  3. 3Register with a working email address and mobile number, since the portal typically sends your login details and status updates to both.
  4. 4Fill in the form with your personal, educational and category details exactly as they appear on your certificates. A mismatch here is one of the most common reasons applications get rejected at verification.
  5. 5Upload your scanned photograph and signature in the exact format, dimensions and file size the notification specifies.
  6. 6Check every section of the completed form on the preview screen before you submit, since most portals don't allow edits afterward.
  7. 7Download or print the confirmation page once submission is complete; you'll likely need it again at the admit card or document verification stage.
