The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result, with marks, for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) First Examination, an exam that was held to fill 439 posts across the armed forces training academies.
Applications for this exam had opened on 20 December 2023 and closed on 9 January 2024, with a window to modify the submitted form from 10 to 16 January. The written exam was held on 21 April 2024, after the admit card had come out on 12 April. The result was first declared on 9 May 2024, the final result followed on 21 October 2024, and the final marks were made available on 13 January 2025. The exam fee had been 200 rupees for general and OBC candidates, while SC, ST candidates and women were exempted from paying it.
The 439 posts were split across the Officers Training Academy with 275 posts, the Indian Military Academy with 100, and 32 posts each at the Indian Naval Academy and the Air Force. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their final result and download their marks.
