The Union Public Service Commission has declared the result for the IAS / IFS Recruitment 2021, covering the Civil Services and Indian Forest Service examination cycle for 822 posts. This examination had gone through the usual multi-stage process of preliminary exam, mains, and interview before reaching this final stage.
The preliminary exam, originally scheduled for 27 June 2021, was postponed and finally held on 10 October 2021, with the preliminary result out on 29 October 2021. The mains exam followed on 7 to 16 January 2022, and its result came on 21 March 2022, with a revised IFS mains result on 13 April 2022. The IAS final result was declared on 30 May 2022 and the IFS final result on 28 June 2022, with a reserve list released later on 11 October 2022. The application fee had been 100 rupees for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PH and all female candidates were exempted. Candidates needed to be between 21 and 32 years of age to be eligible.
