The Union Public Service Commission has declared the final result of Civil Services Examination 2022, covering the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Forest Service, along with the reserve list and the marks of candidates who did not qualify. The exercise covered 1162 posts across the various central services.
The examination process ran over more than a year. Online applications opened on 2 February 2022 and closed on 22 February 2022, with the preliminary exam held on 5 June 2022 and the mains from 16 to 25 September 2022. The IAS interview round began on 30 January 2023. The IAS final result came out on 23 May 2023, the IFS final result followed on 1 July 2023, the reserve list was published on 1 November 2023, and marks for candidates who did not qualify for IAS were released on 23 November 2023. The application fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and all women candidates were exempted. The age limit was 21 to 32 years. Of the total posts, 1011 went to the Indian Administrative Service and 151 to the Indian Forest Service.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their category, roll number and marks against the reserve list and the non-qualifying marks statement released by the commission, and should verify their status directly against the official result documents.
