Union Public Service Commission has declared the final result of the Civil Services IAS and Indian Forest Service IFS Examination 2024, along with reserve list marks, for the 1206 posts advertised in this cycle.
Applications were accepted from 14 February 2024 to 6 March 2024, with a correction window from 7 to 13 March. The preliminary exam, moved from its original date, was eventually held on 16 June 2024, and the result followed on 1 July 2024. The mains exam ran from 20 to 29 September 2024, its result came on 9 December 2024, and the IAS final result was declared on 22 April 2025. Reserve list marks were issued on 5 February 2026 and the reserve list itself on 17 March 2026. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS applicants, with SC, ST, PH and all female candidates exempted, and the age limit for applying was 21 to 32 years.
Of the total posts, 1056 went to Indian Administrative Service and 150 to Indian Forest Service, for which a bachelor degree was required, with IFS asking for specific science or agriculture subjects. Candidates named in the reserve list should verify their marks against the figures released by the commission.
