The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, has declared the final result for the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service examination 2022, a central level recruitment for a combined 53 posts, with 24 vacancies under the Indian Economic Service and 29 under the Indian Statistical Service. The Economic Service required a postgraduate degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics or Econometrics, while the Statistical Service required a bachelor's degree with Statistics or a related subject, or a master's degree in Statistics.
Applications had opened on 6 April 2022 and closed on 26 April 2022 up to 6 PM, with the fee payable by the same date. The fee was 200 rupees for general and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates were exempted. The age limit was 21 to 30 years. The written exam was held on 24 June 2022, the admit card came out on 3 June 2022, the initial result was declared on 24 August 2022, interview schedules were released on 4 November 2022, and the final result followed on 28 December 2022.
