The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result, along with marks, for the Indian Economic Service IES and Indian Statistical Service ISS Examination 2023. The exercise was conducted for 51 posts spread across the two services, and candidates who took the exam can now check their final standing.
Applications opened on 19 April 2023 and closed on 9 May 2023 by 6 PM, with the fee payment deadline on the same date and a correction window running from 10 to 16 May 2023. The exam was held on 23 June 2023, admit cards were released on 2 June 2023, and the result came out on 24 August 2023. The DAF form was open from 22 September to 3 October 2023, the final result followed on 24 January 2024, and marks were released on 21 February 2024. The fee was 200 rupees for General and OBC candidates, with SC, ST, PH and all female candidates exempted. The age limit was 21 to 30 years. Of the 51 posts, 18 were for Indian Economic Service, open to candidates with a postgraduate degree in Economics or related fields, and 33 were for Indian Statistical Service, requiring a degree with Statistics as a subject or a master's in Statistics.
