The Indian Air Force has declared the result for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027. Candidates from the Science stream needed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50 percent marks overall and 50 percent in English, or a 3 year diploma in an eligible engineering branch such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology with the same percentage criteria, or a 2 year vocational course with Physics and Maths as non-vocational subjects. Candidates from streams other than Science needed 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate and 50 percent in English, or an equivalent vocational course. The minimum height required was 152.5 centimetres with a chest expansion of 5 centimetres.
Applications opened on 12 January 2026 and closed on 8 February 2026, with the form reopened from 3 to 10 March 2026 for candidates who had missed it. The exam fee was 550 rupees for all categories, payable only through debit card, credit card or net banking. The exam was held on 31 March 2026, the admit card was issued before the exam, and the answer key followed on 3 April 2026. The age limit was 17.5 to 22 years, with candidates required to be born between 1 January 2006 and 1 July 2009.
