The Indian Air Force has released the Provisional Select List for Agniveer Vayu under the Agnipath scheme, Intake 01/2023. This list follows the earlier phases of the Agniveer Vayu recruitment cycle and marks a further step for candidates who cleared the preceding stages.
The application process for this intake had run from 7 to 23 November 2022, with a fee of 250 rupees applicable to all categories including General, OBC, EWS, SC and ST, payable through debit card, credit card or net banking. The written exam was conducted between 18 and 24 January 2023, with exam city details released on 6 January 2023. The Phase I result and the Phase II admit card were both made available on 15 February 2023, and the Provisional Select List itself came out on 15 May 2023. Eligible age for this intake falls between 17.5 and 21 years, corresponding to candidates born between 27 June 2002 and 27 December 2005.
Eligibility runs along a science stream path, requiring 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50 percent marks, or an equivalent diploma or vocational course, and a non-science path requiring 10+2 with an overall 50 percent aggregate and 50 percent in English. Medical standards include a minimum height of 152.5 cm and chest expansion of 5 cm. Candidates named in the provisional list should watch for further stages of selection tied to this intake.
