The Army Ordnance Corps has declared the result for its recruitment of Tradesman Mate and Fireman, a central-level exercise that covered 1793 posts in total.
Applications for this recruitment opened on 6 February 2023 and closed on 26 February 2023, which was also the last date to complete the form. The result was declared on 7 June 2023, after the exam and admit card stage. There was no application fee for General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST or PH candidates. The age limit for both posts was 18 to 25 years. Of the total vacancies, 1249 were for Tradesman Mate, requiring a Class 10 pass along with a physical running test, and 544 were for Fireman, which also required a height of 165 cm, a chest measurement of 81.5 to 86 cm and a running test. Within Tradesman Mate, the category split included 508 General, 337 OBC, 124 EWS, 187 SC and 93 ST posts, while Fireman had 222 General, 147 OBC, 54 EWS, 81 SC and 40 ST posts.
