The Indian Army has invited online applications for the 60th Short Service Commission Technical entry for men and the 31st entry for women, for a course starting in April 2023, against 350 vacancies. The application window opened on 26 July 2022.

The 350 posts include 175 general Short Service Commission vacancies open to candidates with a bachelor degree in engineering in a related trade, along with specific allocations across engineering branches such as Civil, Building Construction Technology and Architecture with 49 seats, a group of specialised branches like Plastic Technology, Remote Sensing, Biomedical Engineering, Agriculture and others with 9 seats, Mechanical and allied trades with 32 seats, Electrical and allied trades with 17 seats, Computer Science and allied trades with 42 seats, and Electronics and allied trades with 26 seats. The last date to apply online and complete the form is 24 August 2022 up to 3 PM. There is no application fee for General, OBC, SC, ST or female candidates. The age limit for this entry is between 20 and 27 years.
