The Indian Army has declared the result for its Religious Teacher recruitment covering 72 posts, including 63 Pandit and 2 Granthi vacancies open to candidates of the respective faiths with relevant religious and academic qualifications. Applications were accepted from 10 October till 8 November 2017, with the exam held on 25 February 2018 and interviews conducted in April 2018. There was no application fee for any category.

The head priest should be in possession of Geshe (PhD) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rabjam with proper certificate from Monastery
