Assam Rifles has released the admit card for its Tradesman Rally Recruitment 2022, which covers 1380 posts across trades such as Havildar Clerk, Havildar Operator Radio and Line, Rifleman Armourer, Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic, Warrant Officer Veterinary Field Assistant and Naib Subedar. Applications had opened on 6 June 2022 and closed on 20 July 2022, and the admit card is now available from 10 August 2022 for candidates to download before appearing at the rally.
Eligibility varies by trade. Havildar Clerk requires a 10+2 pass along with English typing at 35 words per minute and Hindi typing at 30 words per minute. Havildar Operator Radio and Line asks for 10+2 or a Class 10 pass with an ITI certificate. Rifleman Armourer needs only a Class 10 pass, while Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic requires 10+2 or Class 10 with a diploma, and Warrant Officer Veterinary Field Assistant needs 10+2 with a diploma and a year of experience. Naib Subedar requires a bachelor degree in any stream. The age limit is 18 to 23 years, for candidates born between 1 August 1999 and 1 August 2004. The application fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while it was waived for SC, ST candidates and for women in all categories, payable only through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Vacancies are spread across states including Uttar Pradesh with 123 posts, Bihar with 107, Nagaland with 115, Andhra Pradesh with 72 and Maharashtra with 71, among others. Candidates should carry the downloaded admit card to the rally site along with the documents mentioned in the original notification.
