The Bihar Panchayati Raj Department, through the Bihar Gram Swaraj Yojna Society, has released the exam city and admit card details for the recruitment of Accountant cum IT Assistant, a large drive covering 6570 posts overall.

Applications had opened on 10 May 2024 and closed on 9 June 2024, with the exam fee payable by the same date, set at 500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 250 rupees for SC, ST, PH candidates as well as female candidates of all categories, through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan. The exam was scheduled for July 2024, exam city details were released on 20 June 2024, and the admit card followed on 1 July 2024. Candidates needed to be between 21 years and 45 years for men or 48 years for women, and hold a B.Com, M.Com or CA Inter qualification. Of the 4270 posts for the IT Assistant role, 1068 are reserved for unreserved male candidates and 575 for unreserved female candidates, with further breakup across EWS, BC, EBC, SC and ST categories for both genders.
