The Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Department, under its Land Records Camp, had invited applications for Assistant Settlement Officer, Kanoongo, Amin and Clerk posts, together covering a very large 10101 vacancies at the state level, but this recruitment has since been cancelled.
Online applications had opened on 21 October 2022 and closed on 22 November 2022, with the completed form due the same day. There was no application fee for general, OBC, SC or ST candidates. The minimum age was 18 years for Kanoongo and Amin posts and 21 years for other posts, with the maximum age set at 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Among the posts, Amin carried the largest share with 8244 vacancies, followed by Kanoongo with 758, Clerk with 744 and Assistant Settlement Officer with 355, the last two requiring engineering or civil diploma qualifications along with two years of experience for some positions, and a bachelor's degree for the Clerk post. The cancellation notice for the recruitment was issued on 23 December 2022.
