The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has declared the final result, along with score cards, for the recruitment of Sub Inspector and Sergeant posts under Bihar Police. The exercise covers 2213 posts in all, 1998 for Sub Inspector and 215 for Sergeant.

The process began with applications opening on 16 August 2020 and closing on 24 September 2020, with the fee, 700 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 400 rupees for SC and ST candidates, payable through card, net banking or offline e-challan. The preliminary exam was held on 26 December 2021 with its result out on 2 February 2022, followed by the mains exam on 24 April 2022 and its result on 7 May 2022. The PET admit card followed on 27 May 2022, and the final result was declared on 14 July 2022, with marks made available on 22 August 2022. The age limit was 20 to 37 years for male candidates and 20 to 40 years for female candidates. Sub Inspector required a bachelor's degree in any stream, with 724 posts for General, 333 for SC and smaller shares for BC, EBC, EWS and ST.
