The Bihar Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad) had invited applications for various posts under Advertisement Numbers 01/2023 to 04/2023, together covering 172 vacancies, and has now made available the interview letter for the Security Guard post under Advertisement No. 03/2023.
Applications were accepted online from 25 July 2023 to 21 August 2023, with the fee payable in the same window through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan. The fee for Advertisement Nos. 01/2023 and 02/2023 was 1200 rupees for General, OBC, EWS and other state candidates and 600 rupees for SC, ST and PH candidates; it was 800 and 400 rupees respectively for Advertisement No. 03/2023, and 300 and 150 rupees for Advertisement No. 04/2023. The age limit ranged from 18-21 years to 37 years. The LDC and DEO exam was held on 24 September 2023 and the Reporter and Assistant exam on 1 October 2023, with admit cards issued before each. The Advertisement No. 02/2023 final result came out on 4 December 2023. Vacancies covered 16 Reporter, 30 Assistant, 1 Assistant Legislator, 40 Data Entry Operator, 9 Lower Division Clerk, 52 Security Guard, 4 Driver and 6 Office Attendant posts.
