Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is accepting applications for 154 non-management posts at its Mumbai and Kochi Refineries. The openings cover four technical roles, Process Technician (Chemical), Process Operator/Operator (Chemical), Technician/Operator (Mechanical) and Technician (Electrical), aimed at diploma holders with some hands-on industry background.
Online applications began on 29 July 2026 and close on 13 August 2026, which is also the last date to pay the exam fee, payable only through the online or offline fee mode. General, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates pay 590 rupees plus 18 percent GST, while SC, ST and PH candidates do not have to pay anything. The age limit is 18 to 25 years. Each post needs a relevant engineering diploma, with at least 60 percent marks for general candidates or 50 percent for SC, ST and PH candidates, plus a minimum of one year of relevant experience or apprenticeship. The CBT exam is expected in September 2026, with the admit card coming out before that.
Of the 154 vacancies, 60 are for Process Technician, 64 for Process Operator/Operator, 13 for Technician/Operator (Mechanical) and 17 for Technician (Electrical), split category-wise as 78 UR, 27 OBC, 15 EWS, 18 SC and 19 ST. Candidates should check the diploma-wise eligibility and fee instructions in the notification before applying.
