The Bihar Public Service Commission has declared the final result for its 31st Civil Judge (PCS J) recruitment, filling 221 posts of Civil Judge for which a Bachelor Degree in Law was the eligibility requirement. The process began with online applications from 12 March 2020 to 31 August 2020, followed by a preliminary exam that was postponed from 9 August 2020 to 6 December 2020, with admit cards out on 24 November 2020 and the answer key released on 20 December 2020.
The preliminary result came on 7 February 2021, after which mains forms were accepted from 19 February to 18 March 2021 and the mains exam was held from 24 to 28 July 2021. The mains result followed on 10 February 2022, interview letters were issued on 16 August 2022, and the final result was declared on 10 October 2022. The application fee was 600 rupees for General, OBC and other state candidates, and 150 rupees for SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates, payable through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan.
