The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the result, along with marks, for its Head Teacher recruitment 2024, covering 46308 posts across two advertisements within an overall recruitment cycle of 70017 posts.
Applications ran from 11 March to 2 April 2024, also the fee deadline. The exam was held on 28 and 29 June 2024, the admit card came out on 21 June, the answer key on 10 July, and the result was declared on 1 November 2024, with marks out from 6 November. The fee was 750 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 200 rupees for SC, ST, PH candidates and Bihar-domiciled women, and the maximum age limit is 58 years, with relaxation as per the notification. Of the total, 40247 posts fall under Advertisement 25/2024 from the Education Department for experienced government primary teachers, and 6061 under Advertisement 26/2024 from the SC and ST Welfare Department for TET-qualified postgraduates.
Vacancies are also listed district wise, ranging from 216 in Shivhar to over 1800 in Madhubani, and candidates should check their district count and category-wise marks on the official BPSC portal.
