The Bihar Public Service Commission has declared the final result for the Motor Vehicle Inspector MVI Exam, which was conducted for 90 posts open to candidates with a diploma in automobile or mechanical engineering along with a valid driving license.
Applications for this exam had opened on 11 May 2020 and closed on 6 October 2020, after being reopened for a window between 8 and 17 September 2020. The exam fee had to be paid by 10 July 2020, and the exam itself was held on 17 and 18 December 2020. The result was first made available on 12 June 2022, and the final result followed on 12 October 2022. The application fee was 750 rupees for General, BC and EWS candidates, and 200 rupees for SC, ST candidates and Bihar domicile female candidates. Out of the 90 posts, 22 are reserved for EBC, 20 for SC, 10 for OBC, 6 for EWS, 4 for OBC female and 2 for ST.
Candidates who appeared for this exam can now check their final selection status through the official BPSC website. Given the long gap between the exam in December 2020 and the final result in October 2022, candidates should verify their roll number carefully while checking the result list.
