BPSSC Assistant Sub Inspector ASI Operation Recruitment 2026 Result for 462 Post

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has declared the result for Assistant Sub-Inspector (Operation) recruitment in Bihar Police Radio (Wireless), covering 462 posts under the Government of Bihar.

Applications were open from 4 February 2026 to 4 March 2026, with the fee payable by the same date. The exam was held on 22 July 2026, the admit card was released on 7 July 2026, and the result followed on 12 August 2026. The fee was 100 rupees for General, BC, EWS and other state candidates as well as SC and ST candidates. The age limit is a minimum of 21 years, going up to 37 years for men and 40 years for women, with further age relaxation described in the notification.

The post requires a BSc degree with Physics and at least 50 percent marks, or 45 percent for SC and ST candidates, along with physical standards such as a height of 165 cm for men, 160 cm for SC/ST men and 155 cm for women, and a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes for men against 1 km in 7 minutes for women, among other listed measurements. Of the 462 posts, the category-wise break-up includes 185 for unreserved candidates, 46 for EWS, 83 for EBC, 55 for BC, 14 for BC women, 74 for SC and 5 for ST.
