The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has declared the final result, along with cutoff and marksheet, for its Sub Inspector recruitment covering 1275 posts in the state of Bihar.
The application window for this recruitment ran from 5 October to 5 November 2023, with a photo and signature re-upload window from 9 to 14 November. The written exam was held on 17 December 2023 and its result came on 25 January 2024, followed by the Phase II Mains exam on 25 February 2024 after an admit card released on 6 February, with that result declared on 15 March. The PET admit card followed on 28 May, leading to the final result on 9 July 2024 and marksheets made available on 19 August 2024. The fee was 700 rupees for General, OBC, EWS and Other State candidates, and 400 rupees for SC, ST and Bihar domicile female candidates, with an age limit of 20 to 37 years for male and 20 to 40 years for female candidates. Of the 1275 posts, the breakup includes 441 for UR, 275 for SC, 238 for EBC, 111 for EWS, 107 for OBC, 82 for BC Female, 16 for ST and 5 for Transgender candidates.
