BPSSC Sub Inspector SI Prohibition Recruitment 2026 Result for 78 Post

Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has declared the result for the Sub Inspector (Prohibition) recruitment 2026, conducted for 78 posts of Sub-Inspector under the prohibition wing.

Applications for this recruitment opened on 27 January 2026 and closed on 27 February 2026, which was also the last date to pay the exam fee. The written exam was held on 12 July 2026, the admit card had been made available from 22 June 2026, and the result was declared on 12 August 2026. The fee was 100 rupees across all categories, payable through the online or offline mode. Candidates needed a bachelor's degree from a recognized university to be eligible, and the age limit was set at 20 years minimum, rising to 37 years for male and 40 years for female candidates, with relaxation as per the notification. Category wise, the 78 posts went to UR (41), EWS (8), EBC (12), BC (9), BC Female (1), SC (2) and ST (1).
