The Border Roads Organisation, BRO, has invited offline applications for various posts including Multi Skilled Worker, Operator, Mechanic and Driver, with a total of 567 vacancies on offer at the central level.
Applications opened on 2 January 2023 and are to be submitted offline within 45 days of publication in Employment News, by 15 February 2023. The exam fee is 50 rupees for UR, OBC and EWS candidates, payable through SBI I Collect, debit card, credit card or net banking, while SC and ST candidates are exempted. The minimum age is 18 years, with the upper limit set at 25 years for Multi Skill Worker posts and 27 years for Mechanic, Operator and Driver posts. Among the individual posts, Vehicle Mechanic carries 236 vacancies, Operator Communication has 154, MSW Mason has 149, Driver Mechanical Transport has 9, MSW Driller has 11, Radio Mechanic has 2, MSW Painter has 5 and MSW Mess Waiter has 1, each requiring a Class 10th pass along with the relevant ITI or trade certificate.
Candidates meeting the eligibility for any of these trades should apply offline before the deadline. The admit card will be issued before the exam, the date of which will be announced later as per schedule.
