The Border Security Force has declared the final result for Constable Tradesman recruitment 2023, a drive that covered 1284 posts across various trades. Candidates who took part in the physical and written selection process can now check whether they have cleared the final stage.
Applications opened on 27 February 2023 and closed on 27 March 2023, which was also the last date for fee payment. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates were exempted. The minimum age required was 18 years and the maximum was 25 years. Eligibility was a Class 10th pass, with an ITI or NCVT certificate needed for certain trades, along with physical standards such as height and a timed run. The PET and PST exam was held in the third week of May 2023, the admit card had come out on 13 May 2023, and the result was declared on 6 November 2023, followed by the final result on 21 December 2023. The 1284 posts were split across trades such as Constable Cook with 456 male and 24 female posts, Constable Water Carrier with 280 male and 14 female posts, Constable Sweeper with 263 male and 14 female posts, Constable Washer Man with 125 male and 7 female posts, Constable Barber with 57 male and 3 female posts, Constable Cobbler with 22 male and 1 female post, Constable Tailor with 12 male and 1 female post, and Constable Waiter with 5 male posts.
