The Border Security Force (BSF) had invited applications for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Stenographer, covering 323 posts in total.
Online applications were accepted from 8 August 2022 to 6 September 2022, with the exam fee payable by the same date. The written exam was held in the third week of December, with its admit card released on 10 December 2022 and its result declared on 1 March 2023. The Phase II exam followed on 17 and 18 June 2023, with its admit card available from 5 June 2023 and its result declared on 14 August 2023. Of the 323 posts, 312 are for Head Constable (Ministerial) and 11 are for ASI Stenographer. The fee was 200 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and exempted for SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates. The age limit was 18 to 25 years.
The Head Constable (Ministerial) post requires a 10+2 pass from a recognised board, while the ASI Stenographer post additionally requires clearing a stenography skill test. Candidates can check the Phase II result and further selection updates on the BSF recruitment portal.
