Border Security Force has declared the revised result for the Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Assistant Commandant) recruitment against 20 posts. The exercise was open to both male and female candidates for this technical cadre position within the force.
Applications for this recruitment had opened on 11 December 2022 and closed on 9 January 2023, with the exam fee payable by the same date through debit card, credit card, net banking or e challan. The fee was 400 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH and all female candidates were exempted from payment. The minimum age was 23 years and the maximum was 30 years. Of the 20 posts, 11 were reserved for UR, 4 for SC, 3 for OBC and 2 for EWS, with no vacancy shown against ST. The post required a bachelor degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry along with registration in a Veterinary Council, and carried separate physical standards for height, chest, running and other tests for male and female candidates.
