The Border Security Force has declared the result for its Water Wing recruitment 2022, which covered Group B and Group C posts of Sub Inspector, Head Constable and Constable across 281 vacancies. Applications were open from 30 May 2022 to 28 June 2022, followed by a written exam on 28 August 2022 and the result on 29 September 2022.
Among the posts, Constable Crew carried 130 vacancies, Head Constable Master 52, Head Constable Engine Driver 64, Head Constable Workshop Mechanic 10, and the Sub Inspector posts for Master, Engine Driver and Workshop together made up the rest. Eligibility ranged from a Class 10 pass with relevant boat or engine certificates for the constable and head constable posts, to a 10+2 with specific marine certificates or an engineering degree for the Sub Inspector posts. The exam fee was 200 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates applying for Sub Inspector posts and 100 rupees for the same categories applying for Head Constable or Constable posts, while SC, ST and PH candidates across all posts were exempted. Age limits were set at 20 to 25 years for one set of posts and 22 to 28 years for another.
