The preliminary exam, after earlier proposed dates, was eventually conducted on 8, 9 and 10 December 2018, with the admit card issued on 22 November 2018 and its result declared on 14 February 2020. The mains stage followed, with an exam in December 2020 and a result on 26 February 2021, then a typing test, physical efficiency test and document verification running through 2021, before the final result was declared on 26 June 2022 and the score card released on 8 July 2022.
The 12,758 posts span roles such as Revenue Clerk with 4353 posts, Panchayat Sachiv with 3161, several Lower Division Clerk groups with the largest carrying 1751 posts, Forest Guard with 693, Junior Account Clerk with 187, and Stenographer and Steno Typist posts, most requiring a 10+2 Intermediate pass, in some cases with typing or computer knowledge as an added requirement.
