Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan has invited online applications for Primary Teacher recruitment in Chandigarh against 158 posts under the Junior Basic Training JBT category. Candidates interested in a primary teaching role in the Chandigarh region can apply during the open window.
Applications began on 15 September 2022 and close on 6 October 2022 up to 5 PM, with the examination fee payable till 10 October 2022. The exam is scheduled for 31 October 2022, and the admit card will be released before the exam date. The fee is 1000 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 500 rupees for SC candidates, payable online or through e-challan. The age limit is 21 to 37 years. Eligible candidates need a bachelor's degree in any stream along with D.El.Ed and a CTET Paper I pass, or a bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks along with a B.Ed degree and CTET Paper I pass. Of the 158 posts, 75 are reserved for General, 41 for OBC, 26 for SC and 16 for EWS.
