The Central Selection Board of Constable, Bihar (CSBC) has declared the final result for the Constable Fireman recruitment, covering 2380 posts. Applications for the post were accepted from 24 February 2021 to 25 March 2021, with the exam fee due by the same closing date.
The written exam was held on 27 March 2022, with a supplementary exam on 28 August 2022 for candidates who could not appear earlier; admit cards for these exams were issued on 12 August 2022, and the result was declared on 5 September 2022. Those who cleared the written exam then appeared for the Physical Efficiency Test on 8 November 2022, with its admit card released on 12 October 2022, and the final result came out on 9 December 2022. The fee was 450 rupees for General, OBC and Other State candidates and 112 rupees for SC and ST candidates. The age limit was 18 to 25 years as on 1 August 2020, and the post required a 10+2 pass from a recognized board.
Of the 2380 Fireman posts, the category-wise break-up shows 957 for UR, 419 for EBC, 378 for SC, 268 for BC, 238 for EWS, 97 for BC Female and 23 for ST. Candidates can now check their final result and prepare for the next steps in the selection process.
