The Central Selection Board of Constable, Bihar (CSBC) has released the admit card for the Driver Eligibility Test (DET) under its Constable Driver recruitment, Advertisement No 02/2025, which covers 4361 posts.
Online applications ran from 21 July 2025 to 20 August 2025, with the exam fee due the same day. The written exam was held on 10 December 2025, the PET followed on 12 March 2026 with its result declared on 28 April 2026, and the DET admit card is now out from 10 August 2026 ahead of the DET on 24 August 2026. The fee is 675 rupees for General, OBC, EWS and EBC candidates and 180 rupees for SC, ST and all-category female candidates with Bihar domicile. The age limit is 20 to 25 years.
The post calls for a 10+2 pass with an LMV or HMV driving licence. The DET carries fixed physical standards for a timed run, high jump, long jump and shot put, set separately for men and women, for instance a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes for men against 1 km for women. Of the 4361 vacancies, 1772 are General, 757 EBC, 632 SC, 492 BC, 436 EWS, 248 BC-Female and 24 ST. Candidates should download the DET admit card and carry it to the test centre with the required documents.
