The Central Selection Board of Constable, Bihar (CSBC) has declared the result for the Prohibition Constable Recruitment 2022, which covered 689 posts under the Excise and Registration Department. The written examination for this recruitment was held on 14 May 2023, and the result was made available on 10 July 2023, along with the schedule for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Candidates had applied online between 14 November 2022 and 14 December 2022, with the fee payable through debit card, credit card, net banking, or offline through E Challan. The application fee was 675 rupees for General, OBC, EWS and other state candidates, and 180 rupees for SC/ST candidates. The age limit for the post was set between 18 and 25 years. The 689 vacancies are open to both male and female candidates who have passed the 10+2 Intermediate exam from a recognised board. Category-wise, the breakup includes 272 posts for UR, 124 for EBC, 114 for SC, 83 for BC, 68 for EWS, 21 for BC Female and 7 for ST.
With the PET admit card available from 1 August 2023 and the PET exam starting 21 August 2023, candidates who cleared the written exam should keep an eye on the physical test schedule and carry the required documents on the test date.
