The Delhi Forest Department has declared the final result for the Forest Guard recruitment 2020, which had originally invited applications for 226 posts covering Forest Guard, Wildlife Guard and Forest Ranger positions. Applications were accepted online between 14 January 2020 and 16 February 2020, and the selection process ran across multiple stages over more than two years before concluding with this final result.
The process included a written exam in March 2020, followed by a separate Forest Guard exam held from 1 to 7 March 2021, an answer key released on 11 March 2021, and a result announced on 28 March 2022. A supplementary result and the PET and PST admit card followed on 3 August 2022, leading up to the final result released on 28 September 2022. Out of the total vacancies, 211 were for Forest Guard, 11 for Wildlife Guard and 4 for Forest Ranger, with eligibility ranging from a Class 10 pass to a science or engineering degree depending on the post, along with height and chest standards for the guard posts. The exam fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST and all female candidates were exempted from payment.
Candidates who appeared through the various stages of this long-running recruitment can now check their final result and proceed as per the instructions issued by the department.
