DRDO has declared the Tech-A Tier II result under CEPTAM-10, a recruitment carried out for a combined 1,901 posts covering Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B), Group B Non-Gazetted Non-Ministerial, with 1,075 posts, and Technician-A (Tech-A), Group C Non-Gazetted Non-Ministerial, with 826 posts.
The notification was issued on 23 August 2022, and applications ran from 3 September to 23 September 2022, with the form to be completed by 25 September up to 5 PM. The rejected list came out on 16 October 2022. For Tier I, the admit card was issued on 31 October 2022 and the exam held in November 2022, with the STA-B result declared on 19 December 2022. Tech-A Tier I was held on 6 to 11 January 2023, STA-B Tier II on 12 January 2023 with its result on 30 January, and the Tech-A result followed on 21 February 2023. The Tech-A Tier II admit card came on 10 March 2023, and the Tech-A Tier II result is now out, declared on 10 May 2023. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS, and free for SC, ST, PH and all female candidates, with the age limit set between 18 and 28 years.
The 826 Tech-A posts were spread across numerous trades, from Agriculture and Chemistry to Mechanical Engineering, which alone carried 294 posts, Computer Science with 167, and Electronics and Communication with 192, besides trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Machinist and Welder.
