Eklavya Model Residential Schools has declared the result for its 2023 recruitment of Trained Graduate Teacher and Hostel Warden posts, against a total of 6329 vacancies. TGT posts account for 5660 of these across subjects like Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science, Science, Sanskrit and several regional languages, while Hostel Warden makes up the remaining 669 posts.
Online applications had opened on 21 July 2023 and closed on 19 October 2023, with the exam fee payable by the same date. The offline exam was conducted between 16 and 24 December 2023, the answer key was released on 3 January 2024, and the result was declared on 22 January 2024. The fee was 1500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates for TGT posts and 1000 rupees for the same categories under Hostel Warden, with SC, ST and PH candidates exempted in both cases. Subject wise vacancy figures are also listed, with Sanskrit carrying 358 posts and Maths 280 posts among the larger shares. Eligibility for TGT called for a bachelor degree in the relevant subject with CTET and B.Ed, while Hostel Warden required a bachelor degree in any stream.
