General Insurance Corporation of India has released the exam admit card for its Scale I Recruitment 2023, covering 85 posts across various disciplines. Applications were accepted from 23 December 2023 to 12 January 2024, and the fee was payable up to the same date, with the exam held on 9 March 2024 and the admit card issued on 4 March 2024.
The 85 posts are spread across streams such as General with 16 vacancies, Insurance with 17, Information Technology (Software) with 9, HR and Legal with 6 each, Actuary with 4, and smaller numbers in Statistics, Economics, Civil Engineering, Medical, Hydrologist, Hindi, Geophysicist, Agriculture Science and Natural Science, each carrying its own qualification requirement described in the notification. The fee was 1000 rupees for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and female candidates of all categories were exempted. The age limit was set between 21 and 30 years, corresponding to a birth window of 22 August 1989 to 21 August 1998.
