The Indo-Tibetan Border Police has declared the final result for its Constable Tradesman recruitment covering posts such as Safai Karamchari, Washerman, Barber, Tailor, Gardener and Cobbler. This recruitment drive was for 287 posts in total, and candidates who appeared in the selection process can now check their final result.
Applications for this recruitment had opened on 23 November 2022 and closed on 22 December 2022, with the same date as the last day for fee payment. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, ex-servicemen and all female candidates across categories were exempted. The minimum age was 18 years, with the maximum age set at 23 years for Tailor, Gardener and Cobbler posts and 25 years for Safai Karamchari, Washerman and Barber posts. Eligibility for these trades was a Class 10th pass, with 2 years of experience or an ITI certificate required for some trades. The vacancies were spread across posts including Constable Tailor with 18 posts, Constable Gardener with 16 posts, Constable Cobbler with 31 posts, Constable Safai Karamchari with 78 posts, Constable Washerman with 89 posts and Constable Barber with 55 posts, each further divided by Gen, OBC, EWS, SC and ST categories. The final result was declared on 22 December 2023.
