The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the syllabus for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test, JHTET 2026, the state level TET conducted for teaching aspirants in Jharkhand. Candidates who wish to appear for Paper I, Paper II, or both can now go through the exam pattern and topics before the registration window closes.
Online registration opened on 21 April 2026 and the last date to register, as well as to pay the examination fee, is 20 July 2026. The exam itself will be held as per schedule announced later, with the admit card coming out before the exam and the answer key after it; the result is expected to be notified in due course. The fee is set at 1300 rupees for General, BC and EWS candidates applying for only one paper, and 700 rupees for SC and ST candidates in the same category; those applying for both papers under the Junior or Primary level pay 1500 rupees (General, BC, EWS) or 800 rupees (SC, ST). Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, net banking, or the offline mode.
Candidates should go through the syllabus carefully paper wise before starting preparation, and keep checking for the exam date and admit card release once JAC announces them.
